French Speaking Substitutes Needed!
Thanks for your interest in being a substitute for Notre École. We invite you to apply to be added to our substitute pool.
Notre École offers an incentivized tired pay system for teacher subs. All subs start out at $160 per day. After subbing for 30 days, subs will receive a pay increase of $10 per day. After subbing for 60 days, subs will receive another pay increase of $10 a day. At the end of each year the number of days someone has substitute taught is zeroed out.
If you are interested in subbing for Notre École you will need:
to speak French
a copy of your short-call substitute teaching license (If you do not have a license read below on how to obtain a license)
to fill out W-4 MN and W-4 Federal
Employment Eligibility Verification I-9: https://www.uscis.gov/i-9
two forms of identification to verify you are able to work in the U.S. The most common forms are a driver’s license and social security card or passport.
a background check at your expense. A check for $25 will need to be made out to Notre École. Background checks are conducted online.

To Obtain a Short-Term Substitute Teaching License
If you do not already have a substitute teaching license the following is required to be mailed for an initial three-year short-call substitute teaching license (not to exceed 15 days replacing the same classroom teacher)

Complete a Minnesota fingerprint card. This can be requested through the online application.
Sealed official transcripts verifying a U.S. bachelor’s degree (if degree was attained outside the U.S., an equivalent will be required via NACES approved evaluation report: https://www.naces.org/members .
*Regarding transcripts, please have the college/university send the official (sealed) transcripts directly to YOU. Upon receipt of the sealed official transcripts, you would include them (do NOT break seal) with the rest of your application materials for licensure.
